A4, 52 pages, seven colour risograph printed, glue binding with book fabric, wraparound cover - embossed and screen printed metallic cover, 2014

A super delux publication from Belgium's Park Pardon. Geran and Bloeme must be proud, this is a real feat of book making and artists work. A lot of effort, time and love has been put in, both through incredible illustrative content and making.

'"An Entrance to Mention: The Park Pardon Principles" is a book about the park, its people and places. It has been made during our three-month internship at Afreux, a graphic design studio in Antwerp. 52 pages, golden screenprint cover and centerfold, inside are 48 pages printed with a Riso V8000.'

'Park Pardon is the collective of Geran Knol and Bloeme van Bon, who met each other at art school in Zwolle, the Netherlands. They recently moved to Antwerp to continue their studies at St. Lucas. Geran and Bloeme make images in the widest sense of the word, mainly specializing in illustration but also experimenting with other crafts. Sharing a boundless imagination, a sensibility for shape and a refreshing sense of humour – varyingly absurd, black or subtle and sweet – their styles blend perfectly together in the images, books and objects they make. Their world is full of odd characters, fairytale figures and strange events.'
