We're overjoyed to announce that the 2014 Remote Residency artist is Hannah Mandel!

Wednesday 30th April until Saturday 31st May 2014

Hannah will develop a body of work titled 'figs; black toner' as well as a new publication with us here at Good Press.

'The coldest winter since 1996 was the winter you moved back to New York City. This is a narrative that deals with burning houses and the word ‘you’, as in, ‘you’ —the photo of your hand slicing a birthday cake, and you upstate at the minimalism exhibition, when a snake found it’s way inside, slithered between the Flavins'

Hannah Mandel's work deals with notions of feminine dependency, ‘real’ vs. ‘fictional’ narratives, and the aesthetic influence of contemporary graphic design and early conceptualism.
