A5, 136 pages, black and white printing throughout with selected colour pages, perfect bound, 2015.

'Anarchic sexual desires of plain unmarried schoolteachers' contains a series of responses to New Narrative writing strategies developed in the late 1970s in San Francisco and particularly Bruce Boone's seminal short text 'My Walk with Bob'.  New Narrative developed a wandering, porous observational stance and lyrical detachment of the flâneur wedded to a queer aesthetic of dissident erotic and emotional possibilities. The book includes writing by those originators and those that editor Chris McCormack invited to respond to the group's writing.

It brings together new writing by artists and writers, including: Bruce Boone, Lukas Duwenhögger, Vanalyne Green, Rob Halpern, Elizabeth Hatmaker, Emma Hedditch, Jaki Irvine, Colter Jacobsen, Kevin Killian, Chris Kraus, Andy Lacey, Isla Leaver-Yap, Douglas A Martin, Josephine Pryde, Lis Rhodes, Jimmy Robert and Joe Westmoreland. And out-of-print texts by Robert Glück and Sarah Schulman.'
